DWG became interested in MettlePlus based on its' extensive laboratory testing for safety and performance. It is earning an outstanding reputation in racing (which is growing daily) where dollars and maximum performance are critical. We became even more interested when we viewed data and real life results from companies already using the best synthetic lubricants.
How It Works...
MettlePlus is NOT a film or coating over the metal. The oil or other fluid is the carrier of MettlePlus to the metals.
It forms a covalent, galvanic bond to the metal allowing a 3 to 5 micron penetration into the metal, creating a smooth metal. It greatly reduces friction! Extensive testing including the ASTM D2782-88 prove it's ability to protect metal and reduce wear far beyond the capailities of even the finest synthetic lubricants. Oil Analysis proves this substantial reduction of metal wear.
Not a coating, MettlePlus penetrates into the metal working with ferrous particulates within the oils environment. MettlePlus treats the metal... not the oil. Because the molecules in MettlePlus are polarized it creates a molecular bond with the metal surface. The molecules are activated by pressure and heat so MettlePlus performs best right where it is needed most!
The results are significant reductions of friction, wear and heat. From cold starts to extended use at maximum power... MettlePlus protects better than anything. Because of the reduction of friction, Mettle Plus will also increase fuel economy.
IMPORTANT:
MettlePlus does NOT contain: Teflon, PTFE, Chlorinated Paraffins, Viscosity Stabilizers or Solvents.
Validated By Testing...
Independent testing verifies safety / performance. Oil analysis has proven that adding Mettle Plus to your lubricants reduce cylinder and bearing wear and component life can be extended 3 to 5 times longer. Reduced oxidation of the oil will also allow for longer engine and component life. MettlePlus improves the performance of even the best synthetic oils.
Race cars are now proving MettlePlus' performance compared to the best lubricants alone or other metal conditioners. These most demanding conditions are proving MettlePlus' value and savings over any other products they have ever used.
- 8000 HP Top Fuel Drag Racing engines are now enjoying reliability and performance that was previously not available or thought possible.
- Commercial and Industrial users in many industries are seeing greater equipment reliability, much longer product life and lower maintenance costs.
IMPORTANT:
Chlorinated Paraffin lubrication is an effective lubricant but... in the heated conditions of an engine, the short-chain molecular properties can break down and form hydrochloric acids which blend with the engine oil creating pitting, corrosion and oxidized metals. It can harm parts and shorten life, reliability.
Applications For MettlePlus:
•Gasoline Or Diesel Engines
•Natural Gas Engine Applications (Cat 3500, 3600 Series And Others)
•New Or High Mileage Engines
•Truck, Marine, And Railroad Engines, Construction, Off-Road, Motorcycle And Small Engines
•Compatible With Petroleum Or Synthetic Oils
•Differentials (Rear And Front End Axles)
•Manual Transmissions
•Gear Box Applications
•Milling Machines
•Anywhere Where Friction Can Create Heat And Stress
•NOT Recommended with Automatic Transmissions or Wet Clutch Applications
TESTING
Note: Mettle Plus has been through a series of ASTM Tests to assure end users of the product can rest assure a quality product will be in their engines or gear box applications.
